DRBerlin: The ITB Berlin 2018 special issue of Destination Reporter – India Travel Magazine – was released by K J Alphons, Minister of Tourism (I/C), Government of India in the presence of Mukta Datta Tomar IFS, Indian Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, Suman Billa IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, and Jose Kunnappally, Editor, Destination Reporter at the India Pavilion on March 7.
While the fabulous new destinations in North Kerala and its immense tourism prospects feature in the cover story of the special issue, unexplored Lebanon and the specious mainstream media narrative that paints a picture that is far from the ground reality are comprehensively covered under the international destination focus.
The 52nd edition of ITB Berlin, the world’s leading travel trade show, is being held from March 7 to 11 at the Messe Berlin fairgrounds. Reflecting the worldwide dynamic developments and growth in the travel industry, the gala event will see around 10,000 tourism companies from 186 countries and regions rubbing shoulders and exchanging ideas.
