DRMumbai: Four Points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Center along with nine other Marriott hotels hosted the ‘Run to Give’ charity marathon of 5 km on September 22 2019, along the ECR stretch towards Mahabalipuram. The “Run to Give” initiative is an Annual fundraiser held across several cities in the Asia Pacific and the proceeds are donated to the ‘Rising Star Outreach of India’ – an organisation that cares and rehabilitates children with leprosy.
The charity marathon was flagged off from Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort that saw associates from all the 10 Marriott International properties viz. The Westin Chennai Velachery, Courtyard by Marriott Chennai, Le Royal Meridien Chennai, Aloft Chennai OMR – IT Expressway, Fairfield by Marriott – Chennai OMR, Fairfield by Marriott – Sriperumbudur, Fairfield by Marriott – Mahindra World City Chennai, Four Points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Center, Four Points by Sheraton Chennai OMR taking part in the run.
The initiative witnessed over 250 enthusiastic participants from all the ten Marriott hotels, who were presented with a ‘Run to Give’ t-shirt. The donations collected at the end of the event will be given to the ‘Rising Star Outreach of India’ organisation.
