Mumbai: Jet Privilege Private Ltd. (JPPL) has entered into an alliance with India’s largest commercial enterprise, IndianOil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL). Members of JetPrivilege, the award-winning frequent flyer programme of Jet Airways, will now be able to earn as well as redeem JPMiles everytime they purchase fuel at select IOCL outlets. This is the first time that a Frequent Flyer Programme (FFP) in India has established a partnership with the fuel and energy sector.

JetPrivilege members will now be a step closer towards earning a free flight by using their membership number when paying for their fuel at select IOCL outlets. Alternatively, members can also redeem their existing JPMiles to purchase fuel at the same outlets. Members will earn 1 JPMile on every Rs.150 spent on regular fuel and 3 JPMiles on every Rs.150 spent on Xtra Premium fuel at Indian Oil outlets. In case of redemption, for every 4 JPMiles, the members will get one rupee worth of fuel. Initially, the members would be allowed to earn and redeem JPMiles only at select IOCL outlets in Mumbai and Delhi, with plans to expand to 500-plus outlets across eight cities in 2018. The list of the select IOCL outlets is available at www.jetprivilege.com.

Commenting on this association, Manish Dureja, Managing Director, Jet Privilege Private Ltd, said, “The introduction of Indian Oil as a JetPrivilege programme partner reflects our constant endeavour towards building relevance and value in the everyday lives of our members. With 150-plus partners across categories covering avenues like a hotel stay, shopping, dining and now even fuel, our reach and diversity will empower members to accelerate their ability to earn and redeem JPMiles. Forging partnerships to fulfil aspirations of our members by delivering memorable and rewarding experience is at the heart of our business and our partnership with an iconic Indian brand like IndianOil gives our members even greater choice and flexibility in how they earn and use their JPMiles.”

Sanjeev Jain, Executive Director, Retail Sales, said: “IndianOil has always been striving to add to the fuelling experience of customers coming to its retail outlets and through our association with JetPrivilege we would be giving one more reason for customers to fuel with us and also earn and redeem JP Miles.”
