Mumbai: Creative Travel Pvt. Ltd, New Delhi, and Amway Europe have been recognised by the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) with the Crystal Award for Excellence in Incentive Travel: Asia Pacific at the Crystal Awards Recognition Ceremony held during the SITE + MPI Global Forum in Rome, Italy.

This is the Seventh time that Creative Travel has been selected for the prestigious award. The award was received by Rajeev Kohli, Joint Managing Director, Creative Travel and Bob Postins, Head of Special Events, Amway Europe, at a function attended by over 600 industry members. “Crystal Award is the most prestigious form of recognition in the global incentive travel industry,” said SITE President Annamaria Ruffini, CIS, CMP, president and CEO, Events In & Out S.R.L.

“The award not only recognises the outstanding organisations but also showcases the innovative ways companies can create extraordinary motivational experiences to maximise human potential and achieve tangible business results for their companies.” Amway, the #1 direct selling company globally operating in over 100 countries and territories, embraces incentive travel as a cornerstone for the motivation and engagement of its Amway Business Owners.
In its 58 years, Amway has consistently invested in incentive travel; it is a core element of its growth incentive plan and underlines its strong belief in the effectiveness of the strategy.

The Maldives served as a stunning backdrop for the Amway Europe and South Africa Diamond Conference 2017, a 200-guest, 5-night incentive programme. While the Maldives is consistently rated as a top vacation spot, it does not easily accommodate groups of this size. Creative Travel, working alongside Amway’s Meeting Planner, Jasna Goodwin CMP, confidently took on the challenge, combining the best elements of the region with expert production and design experience.

“Creating a dream incentive requires one to have a dream client. Amway Europe put its complete faith in us to deliver a one of a kind trip in a country that had never done anything of this scale before. This was the first project of its kind in the Maldives and a test of our mettle as a DMC. It is an honour to have made history, but also a privilege to create a trip that will now put the Maldives on the map for incentives. This project is a tribute to amazing teamwork, intense out-of-the-box thinking and the creation of lifelong relationships,” said Rajeev Kohli, CIS, joint managing director, Creative Travel.

The event achieved all of Amway’s six Non-Cash Award objectives: enhance the business owner’s affinity to the brand, recognise top achievers, create a sense of aspiration, strengthen relationships with senior regional leadership, present a company report and latest products, and provide an extraordinarily rewarding experience.
