DRMumbai: Federation of Telangana Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI) has appointed Valmiki Hari Kishan as Chairman of Telangana Tourism Conclave 2018, scheduled to be held from June 28-30 in Hyderabad. The event is being supported by Department of Tourism, Telangana. Kishan has rich experience in the tourism industry and was also an active SKAL Executive Committee member. Besides this, he has immense knowledge in the fields of corporate ticketing to Leisure and MICE.
Kishan said, “We are going to conduct another event in Andhra Pradesh this year. For Andhra Pradesh Tourism Conclave, we got a positive response and assured support from the Minister and Secretary of AP Tourism.” He also thanked Gowra Srinivas, President, FTAPCCI, for appointing him as chairman of the show for the very first time after the bifurcation of the state.
According to him, Hyderabad and other two and three tier cities have immense potential for promoting domestic tourism. “This show will also give exposure to our local agents,” he said. The B2B event will be held in an area spread over 6,000 sq ft. Both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh events will have FAM trips for hosted buyers.
