Mumbai: The St. Regis Mumbai announced the appointment of Sachin Mylavarapu as Hotel Manager, The St. Regis Mumbai. Mylavarapu graduated from IHM Hyderabad and has a Master’s in Hospitality Administration and Revenue Management from Cesar Ritz, Brig in Switzerland. With over 17 years of hospitality experience, spread across Asia, Europe and the United States, he brings to his new role, a wealth of creativity, knowledge and business acumen coupled with dedication and commitment.

He joined as EAM Food & Beverage of India’s first St. Regis in May, 2015. During his tenure there, Mylavarapu played a critical role in launching various initiatives to lead the team to top the guest voice scores in food quality and ITR.

Having been with the organisation for the last nine years, he has worked in the roles of Assistant Director, Food & Beverage at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace and subsequently as Director, Food & Beverage at The Westin Mumbai Garden City.

His achievements include winning the ‘F&B Leader of the Year 2014’ at the Starwood Asia Pacific Regional Vice President Award as well as being nominated for the same title in 2013 at the Hotelier India Awards. He introduced and reinforced recognition programmes to combat attrition and enhanced the associate satisfaction scores resulting in increased productivity of the food and beverage teams in Bangkok, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
