DRMumbai: TBO Group / Nijhawan Group in association with Visawaale.com (ADI Group) organized India’s biggest tennis ball cricket tournament TTCL – Travel Trade Cricket League on October 6 and 7 at Gurgaon. Travel Trade Associations, partners and travel affinity groups across India transformed the venue to network, connect and bond over a healthy game of cricket.
Ankush Nijhawan, Co-Founder, TBO Group & Managing Director, Nijhawan Group said, “It is great to see the energy, enthusiasm and excitement among the participating teams and we hope to make this tournament twice as bigger and more competitive next year.” Imran Khan, Director, Visawaale.com said, “The tournament was a brilliant success and we hope to host it with the same fervour in the years to come.”
The event had its fair share of nail-biting moments combined with gaiety and laughter. Sixteen teams competed for the trophy and showcased exemplary sportsmanship. Two all-women teams also participated. Women’s Wonder Team lifted the women’s team cup and Visawaale.com lifted the men’s team cup.
The awards ceremony was graced by eminent members of the travel industry. Sham Nijhawan, Chairman, Nijhawan Group; Sandeep Dwivedi, COO – ITQ and Gaurav Dogra, Secretary, TAAI-Northern Region gave away the trophies to the winning teams. Trophies were also awarded to the Man of the Series, Woman of the Match, Man of the Match and Fair Play Award.
