Yogendra Tripathi IAS Inducted as Tourism Secretary, GoI

New Delhi: Yogendra Tripathi IAS has been appointed as the Secretary, Ministry of Tourism. Tripathi will replace Rashmi Verma IAS. A 1985 Karnataka Cadre IAS officer, Tripathi has been Chairman & MD of Food Corporation
of India prior to his new appointment.

He has served at various levels of the government in Karnataka and Central departments during his more
than three-decade-long career.

Tripathi was Commissioner of Tourism in Karnataka between 2005 and 2006 and also served as Commissioner of
Taxes and Commissioner of Bengaluru Metro.
