Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival
Beyond the musical acts, the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, held in April at Empire Polo Club in Indio, has morphed into something of a cultural phenomenon, with fantastic food and high-wattage stars showing up in their best desert boho outfits.
The musical line-up for the two-weekend event includes Beyoncé, Eminem and The Weeknd. Tickets for the 2019 event sold out the day they were released (January 5), but there could still be some passes available through one of the Palm Springs area pass-plus-lodging packages. If you were lucky enough to score tickets, check the Coachella site to book on-site camping spots, VIP dinners, or even the plush Safari Tent lodgings.

Woodstock 50, New York
Woodstock 50, featuring the ‘Woodstock’ brand name and original Woodstock promoter Michael Lang, will take place on August 16-18, 2019, at Watkins Glen. Woodstock 50 has not announced its line-up or tickets yet, but Lang said more than 40 artistes have been booked for multiple stages.
An estimated 4,00,000 people attended the first Woodstock Music and Arts Festival, held from August 15-18, 1969 at Max Yasgur’s dairy farm near White Lake in the Catskill Mountains.

Hush!! Full Music
This 11-year-old beach-side music concert in Macau has artistes from all over Asia. HUSH!! has gradually become a major cultural brand in Macau. There will also be a music video contest ‘HUSH!! 300 Seconds’. Participants need to submit an application form with a video of their own music or vocal performance and are eligible to win multiple prizes.

Metronome Festival, Prague
Metronome Festival Prague is the first multi-genre festival in the capital city of the Czech Republic after many years. It focuses on all age groups and genre areas. This year’s festival is the third installment and it will take place on the premises of Prague Výstaviště. You can look forward to seeing The Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, Tom Odell, music icons such as John Cale and David Byrne, talented Superorganism, and a Sister Bliss with Faithless DJ set.

Rock for People, Hradec Králové
Rock for People is one of the largest Czech rock music festivals. The three-day festival takes place at a former military airport in Hradec Králové in East Bohemia. This year, enjoy bands such as The Prodigy, Sick Puppies, Skillet and Volbeat. The festival premises and campsite for visitors cover 50 hectares. Concerts take place on two large outdoor stages, in a tent for 8000 people and on two hangar stages. You can additionally dance at several DJ stages, or use the chill-out zones which are open until the early hours.

Midburn Festival, Negev Desert
Burning Man’s Israeli offshoot, Midburn is a special six-day festival held in the Negev Desert around May to June every year. This summer, Israel will host the biggest names of rock like Bon Jovi, Slash and Air Supply. Air Supply, Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock are set to tour Israel to play at the Caesarea Amphitheatre on May 16. Watch the iconic guitarist Slash of Guns N’ Roses fame live in Israel at the Tel Aviv Fair Grounds on July 9. Legendary rock singer Bon Jovi is also set to make an appearance in Tel Aviv on July 25 as part of the band’s European tour ‘This House is Not For Sale’.

Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife is bringing back its popular ‘Children of the 80s’ party to its outdoor lagoon-side concert area with ten dates planned for 2019.
