Mumbai: Nijhawan Group’s Ankush Nijhawan and seasoned Middle East hospitality professional Seema Pande have joined hands to form Elev8 Consulting based in Dubai to offer Representation and Consulting services to hotels, travel partners and tourism boards from around the world in the GCC and Middle East regions.

“In the current hospitality environment, due to various mergers and acquisitions (M&A), we now have some mega brands which cover the world effectively for their sales and marketing needs. We feel there is a requirement for niche hotel operators to ‘have a voice’ through effective representation. We will strive to be their voice in the GCC and Middle East markets and assist in growing their business,” said Seema Pande, who was till recently Commercial Director of Kempinksi Hotel Mall of the Emirates, Dubai.

Elev8 has an experienced team on the ground and will work as an extension of the client’s commercial team. They have already signed up with two client partners and hope to double the number by the end of the year. “We were considering China and Middle East markets to expand Nijhawan Group. China comes with its own complexities, so we opted for the Middle East. We know that market very well since last 10 years through some high profile clients we represent, like Dubai Tourism. We identified significant synergies between Seema’s deep relationships in the market and our business priorities,” said Nijhawan.
