Mumbai: Business & Luxury Travel Mart (BLTM) has been received very well as India’s first full-fledged travel mart focused on sellers from Business, MICE and Luxury Travel segments all over the world and hundreds of qualified Hosted Buyers from India, in addition to thousands of buyers from Delhi National Capital Region.

“BLTM is one-of-its-kind where hosted buyers meet sellers based on pre-scheduled as well as on-the-spot appointments. Smaller table-top shows have been organised in the past, but they failed to do justice to the branding and privacy needs of the sellers. With yet another successful edition in 2018, BLTM has been firmly established as the preferred MICE exhibition of India, with many more countries, hotels and states already looking forward to participating next year,” says Sanjiv Agarwal, Founder, Chairman & CEO, Fairfest Media.

BLTM fills a vacuum in the evolution of travel trade shows in India, by introducing a sustainable show focused on business travel and MICE buyers

BLTM Delhi is India’s leading travel mart focused on Business, MICE and Luxury Travel. BLTM 2019 is scheduled to be held on January 18, 19 at the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi, where qualified buyers from Delhi and India are hosted. The show opens doors to India’s 6.5 million outbound luxury and MICE tourists, as well as the fastest growing business travel market in the world.

Sellers are provided accommodation free of cost with their booth space, to enhance buyer-seller social interactions. Buyers and sellers meet as per appointments scheduled online as well as on-the-spot. A buyer-seller ratio of 2:1 guarantees appointment diaries are full and everyone is busy discussing productive business. Over 5,000 appointments were scheduled in just two days at the last edition.

Hosted Buyers at BLTM include corporate travel planners with purchasing authority, travel companies catering to business, leisure, MICE and luxury travel, MICE travel managers and buyers, MICE organisers and managers, business travel managers and buyers, film destination companies, associations, wedding planners and event management companies. BLTM fills a vacuum in the evolution of travel trade shows in India, by introducing a sustainable show focused on business travel and MICE buyers.

The organiser, Fairfest Media, established in 1988, conducts TTF-branded shows, which expanded to an eight-city series annually. OTM, organised by them in Mumbai every year, is one of the largest travel shows in India, with the participation of more than 25 states and 50 countries.

The second edition of BLTM held at Hyatt Regency Gurgaon in 2017 garnered good response. Individual sellers numbering 150 in 50 destination pavilions and stands from 11 countries, met over 250 qualified hosted buyers from 32 Indian cities and three countries, by appointment. Sri Lanka Convention Bureau participated for the first time, with one of the largest pavilions and a dozen co-participants. More than 5,000 business meetings as per pre-scheduled and spot appointments were conducted.
