Jerusalem to Lead Tourism Cities in Annual Growth

Mumbai: According to a recent ranking report titled ‘Top 100 City Destinations 2018’ released  by global market research company Euromonitor International (and as reported by Bloomberg), Jerusalem will lead all global tourism cities in annual growth for inbound visitors, making the Israeli city one of the world’s most popular travel destinations of 2018.

Growth in Jerusalem is set to accelerate 38 per cent to 4.8 million tourist arrivals by the end of 2018, according to the report, and this after a 32 per cent growth in 2017.

It should be noted that the 2018 data is an estimated arrivals figure based on part-year data.
