New Delhi: The concept of personal concierge desk is nothing new for corporate travel and hotel bookings. However, it’s very rare that a user gets a personal relationship manager for taxi bookings. For the first time in online cab bookings, TravelParo is introducing personalised relationship manager, who would manage client concerns right from the time of booking till the journey is completed.

TravelParo, a six-month-old startup headquartered in New Delhi, makes sure that the user feels secured and enjoys every second of the travel. The online transportation aggregator provides all travelling alternatives like package cabs, outstation taxis, and one-way cabs under a single roof without undermining either the service quality or the trustworthiness of the drivers.

In such short span of time, the company has expanded to 300 cities in India, including Delhi- NCR, Mumbai, Gujarat, North East viz. Guwahati, Aizwal, Agartala, Bihar, West Bengal, Punjab, etc. One relationship manager is dedicated to each booking and it is ensured that he is just a call away from the customer throughout to provide personalised experience via a non-IVR contact number.

The customer support team and dedicated relationship managers are available round the clock for 365 days in a year to resolve the queries on a priority basis. The company provides regular training for safe driving, driving habits, cleanliness, soft skills, etiquettes etc. so that they can provide a better experience for its clients.

The company is breaking the existing unorganised clutter in the market with a focus on Tier II and Tier III cities like Patna, Bhubaneshwar, Rourkela, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Bhagalpur, Balasore, Puri, Shillong, Jodhpur, Kota, Jaipur, etc. Praveen Kumar, Head-Strategy, TravelParo, said, “The response we are getting is very encouraging. The company has already clocked around 1 million km in just a month since the launch of its operations.

The company is the official cab partner for Super Fight League, one of the toughest mixed martial arts today in the country and first-of-its-kind league in the world. The growth opportunities are huge considering the whopping size of the market ($20 billion). “With an inventory of 35,000 cabs, we are planning to expand to 500 cities by the end of this fiscal and launch one-way cabs, mobile app for drivers and ETA facility.”
