New Delhi: ‘Visit Monaco’successfully concluded the ‘Monaco Residential Conclave 2018’ amidst the serene surroundings of Goa. Monaco has been a top-end luxury destination with a commitment towards environmental-friendly living. With the theme ‘Green is the New Glam’, the Monaco Government Tourist Bureau endeavoured to take major steps in green and sustainable practices, keeping the prime interest of Indian travellers in consideration.

The two-day affair laid emphasis on sustainable tourism and responsible luxury as the core of its communication through a panel discussion on energy conservation, in association with the luxury lifestyle magazine, Peaklife.
Moderated by Jamal Shaikh, National Editor-Brunch and New Media Initiatives, Hindustan Times, along with Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi and Corinne Kiabski, Press and Communication Director, Monaco Government Tourist & Convention Authority, the conclave saw top-notch, industry influencers, travel enthusiasts, corporates, business heads, fashion influencers, wellness professionals and distinguished decision makers from across the length and breadth of the country exchanging views and opinions on green initiatives across various industries.

The artworks depicted Amit’s inspiration from the carvings and motifs of Destination Monaco’s architecture as well as the Mediterranean colours with hues of re-cycled fashion. Along with this, various Interesting workshops, presentations and fun activities were organised to educate and refresh the bond that they share with Destination Monaco.

The informative sessions were followed by holistic mind and soul workshop by wellness expert, healer and clinical hypnotherapist Vesna Jacob. The senior delegation from Monaco was led by Corinne Kiabskiand Charlotte Valli, Sales & Marketing Manager, Monaco Government Tourist & Convention Authority, along with prestigious hotels partners including, Fairmont Monte Carlo, Le Meridien Beach Plaza Monaco and Monte-Carlo SBM Group.

The conclave, which saw an indulgent wine tasting tricks and treats by Dominique Milardi, President, Monaco Sommeliers Association, received anoverwhelming response. On the occasion, Rajeev Nangia, India Director, Monaco Government Tourist Bureau, said, “Monaco has been the epitome of luxury and has always attracted the crème de la crème of society from across the globe. We do understand that luxury comes with a responsibility. Thus, Monaco has adopted the theme ‘Green is the New Glam’. We are consciously growing towards industrial sustainability with a commitment of value beyond business in the light of green initiatives and turning to eco-friendly practices.”

The green mission of urban agriculture farming called ‘Terra de Monaco’ believes ‘Good Food is Green’, which makes Monaco the world’s first to have the largest number of organic farms and vegetable gardens on rooftops.
With Mobee and Electronic Bike installations, the idea of Green Transportation is now an inevitable part of destination Monaco, too. Monaco is the second smallest country in the world to globally address the environmental issue of reducing the carbon footprint and aspires to practice small initiatives that contribute towards protection of the environment.
