Mumbai: Following the first two successful seasons of the show, ‘Vicky the Gastronaut’, Chef Vicky Ratnani has again geared up to take the food enthusiasts on a mouth-watering journey through a culinary expedition in Thailand. In this season, accompanying him will be Chef Seefah and her husband, Chef Karan Bane who together will showcase the variety of food palate that Thailand boasts of and alongside, will also highlight glimpses of the northern Lana culture, art, ancient cooking methods and thai way of life.

What’s exciting and different this season is that the chefs doubled up the fun quotient by participating in adventurous activities such as ziplining, community-based cooking with the Karen village hill tribe in Doi Inthanon (highest peak in Thailand), visiting the White Temple, etc. Furthermore, to experience the rich and varied culture and art, Chef met up with renowned thai artist Kachama who creates intricate, handwoven, mixed-material textiles in her Chiang Mai studio and also tried his hands at indigo dying at Studio Naenna based at the foothills of Doi Suthep.

Capturing all these elements, the episodes of ‘Vicky the Gastronaut’- season 3 will be published on Chef Vicky’s social media handles, every week, this week onwards. The Tourism Authority of Thailand will further amplify them through their official accounts across several platforms.
