Mumbai: As the count down begins for OTM 2020, touted as the leading travel show in the Asia-Pacific, the organisers have revealed its line-up and it looks promising as ever. According to an official statement from Fairfest Media, many esteemed participants from the past have reinforced their trust in the B2B travel trade show with big names like Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Maldives, Mauritius, Philippines, China, Fiji, Nepal and Sri Lanka coming on board for the upcoming edition.

Organised by Fairfest Media, the three-day B2B show to be held at Bombay Exhibition Centre from February 3-5, 2020 will bring the best of global travel to the Indian stage

The show has also caught the attention of Malaysia and Azerbaijan. Both destinations have expressed their interest in associating with OTM 2020 for their marketing and trade promotional purposes in India, it said.
Interestingly, African nations including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Mauritius and others will showcase their destination only at OTM in India.

Things are looking great on the home front too. Almost 30 State Tourism Boards and Union Territories are planning to exhibit in a prominent way, including Andaman & Nicobar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttarakhand and West Bengal. Each State will be participating along with a large selection of private participants.

OTM has consistently received rave reviews from its exhibitors, most of whom consider the platform to be indispensable to effectively reach out to the diverse Indian travel market. OTM is ably supported by a Hosted Buyer Programme. Over 800 top buyers from Tier I, Tier II cities and other regions are invited, qualified and hosted during the three days of the show.

Tie-ups with travel trade associations such as OTOAI, ADTOI, TAFI, ETAA, TAAI, IATO, NIMA, EEMA, SIGTOA, TAAP, TAAN, GTAA, TAG and RAAG have also been made to attract top buyers from all over India. International buyers from countries such as Australia, France, Spain, USA, Canada, Georgia, Romania, Poland, Italy, Israel, Bulgaria, Mexico, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and many others will attend the show. More than 15,000 trade visitors will also join the buyers in exploring travel showcases over a three-day period.

With more than 1000 exhibitors, OTM Mumbai continues to be the biggest of its kind in terms of rented area. If the response received till date is any indication, the show will be much bigger in the upcoming edition.

OTM is also famous for a well-curated, informative and relevant event programme that addresses the travel industry’s trends and challenges. The OTM Forum 2020 will focus on key areas of travel including outbound, MICE, travel tech, aviation and others. A special Islamic Travel Mart (ITM) pavilion dedicated to Hajj, Umrah, Ziyarat and Halal travel market in India will now be present at the upcoming edition of OTM, with the promise of providing all-round support to India’s growing Muslim travel industry.
