Mumbai: Israel Tourism is expanding its activities at Ben-Gurion International Airport with the setting up of a new welcome desk for tourists in the arrival hall of the airport.
The idea is to offer a service to travellers seeking information regarding public transportation, accommodation, attractions, maps and more. The new welcome desk inaugurated on August 2, 2018, is in addition to the permanent welcome desk, positioned in the baggage hall.
Yariv Levin, Tourism Minister, who inaugurated the welcome desk, said: “This year, we are set to touch about 4 million incoming tourists and this welcome desk will provide them with an immediate response so that their visit to Israel will be as memorable and hassle-free as possible.”
