Mumbai: With a sizeable portion of Indian students pursuing Hospitality & culinary courses, Zista Education organized India’s only hospitality & culinary- focused higher education fair “Global Hospitality Educational Expo 2019”. This year the hospitality expo was glorified with the presence of eclectic and quintessential thought leaders, innovators, chefs & experts under one roof. Growing even bigger than the last edition, GHEE 2019 was carried out in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Jaipur and Delhi. This expo was distinctive in terms of options it provided to each seeker, who could apply to the institution of his/her choice and get first-hand information on courses, scholarships right there. The fair also provided an opportunity to have one-on-one interactions with 17 leading institutions mentioned below:

The second edition of GHEE was not just an exhibition but a mélange of best of curated universities and their vast knowledge from across the world where more than 575 visitors attended. On organizing such a successful event Mitali Rawool, Assistant Director, Zista Education states,” We at Zista Education are delighted and humbled to have put together the Global Hospitality Expo 2019 for aspiring students. This education fair aims to provide a transparent and delightful opportunity for students to grow personally and professionally. We aspire to help students and institutions to achieve their goals as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Students really appreciated hearing from hospitality and culinary leaders in different cities. The speakers included Abhishek Anand, Head, Human Resources, The Leela Palace, New Delhi.  Vijay Wanchoo, Sr. Executive Vice President & General Manager, The Imperial, Delhi and Manas Krishnamoorthy, General Manager, ITC Windsor, Bangalore, Sameer Malkani, Co-Founder, FBAI and  Nikhil Agarwal, Founder, All Things Nice.

Hospitality entrepreneurship panels were organized in Mumbai and Kolkata. The panel in Mumbai included Ketan Sinh Gohel, Co-Founder Brewbot Pub Eatery & Brewery, Tanay Kapur, Co-Founder, Chin Chin Chu & Director, Artisan Food Temple and Dr. Siddhant Bhargava, Co-Founder, Food Darzee. The panel in Kolkata included Iftekhar Ahsan, General Manager, The Calcutta Bungalow and Co-Founder, Calcutta Walks, Aradhana Khullar, Director, Amber Restaurant, Avantika Saraogi, Partner, Monkey Bar & Fatty Bao and Sneha Singhi, Founder, The Paris Café. Interactive culinary demonstrations were organized in 2 cities; Chef Urvika Kanoi, Founder, The Daily Café focused on Super Foods & Indigenous Ingredients in Kolkata, whilst in Bangalore, Chef Akshraj Jodha, Executive Chef, ITC Windsor, focused on Rajasthani cuisine. To conclude, Mitali added, “After a successful expo this year, we will be back with a new set of eclectic speakers and promise to deliver one of the most insightful and interactive hospitality education expo next year.”
