Mumbai: A cricket match was organised recently by Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) between the travel agents of Australia and India. Former cricketers Brett Lee and Michael Kasprowicz were guests of honour at the match played at Brisbane Airport’s (BNE) International Terminal. It is the world’s first cricket match hosted inside an airport terminal.

The Australian team that comprised Brisbane Airport Corporation management and Queensland attraction operators was led by Lee while Kasprowicz captained the Indian contingent. The Indian travel agents, batting first, made 78 runs in the stipulated 12 overs while the Australian side made 72 runs. The match was streamed live on Brett Lee’s Facebook page with a reach of 3.3 million globally and 32,000 live viewers.
